Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #11 & Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge

"Not All Who Wander Are Lost"

It's week # 11 in the
Compendium of Curiosities Challenge so...
Please open your book to page 36, where you'll find Tim's Blended Batik technique!
You can visit Linda's blog StudioL3 to get all the details
I used Tumbled Glass-Broken China & Weathered Wood
distress ink on my tag
&
over at Simon Says Stamp & Show this week's challenge
was all about "HIM" Tim Holtz that is!
So this was really the perfect week to be able to combine both challenges in one!
The Umbrella Man on my tag was a souvenir
from a demo being done by none other than himself...
so he stamped & cut it out of grungeboard & gave it to me!
The set of keys I have the tag attached to for the photo were my Aunt's
from when she sailed on an Ocean Liner after WWII to France to live in Paris

sitting on top of the Grungeboard flourish vine...oh & don't forget the snaps!
I learned to make those roses from Wendy herself on the cruise last year.

It's week #9 & time to turn to page 42 in your
Compendium of Curiosities for the Distress Crackle Technique!
Be sure to visit the lovely Linda Ledbetters blog StudioL3 for all
the info about these fun weekly challenges
I could not get a photo I was really happy with so I'm just going with
what I got...The subject of this tag was my trip to Blarney Castle in Ireland
Such a beautiful place & a WONDERFUL trip!
I used Shabby Shutter & Old Paper on the background & Rock Candy on the
horseshoe & Castle picture which gave a shiny crackle finish which was hard to
photograph...oh well............
