Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #11 & Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge

"Not All Who Wander Are Lost"

It's week # 11 in the
Compendium of Curiosities Challenge so...
Please open your book to page 36, where you'll find Tim's Blended Batik technique!
You can visit Linda's blog StudioL3 to get all the details
I used Tumbled Glass-Broken China & Weathered Wood
distress ink on my tag
&
over at Simon Says Stamp & Show this week's challenge
was all about "HIM" Tim Holtz that is!
So this was really the perfect week to be able to combine both challenges in one!
The Umbrella Man on my tag was a souvenir
from a demo being done by none other than himself...
so he stamped & cut it out of grungeboard & gave it to me!
The set of keys I have the tag attached to for the photo were my Aunt's
from when she sailed on an Ocean Liner after WWII to France to live in Paris

  2. Oh, Nancy, what a gorgeous way to use these two precious souvenirs! Your blended batik background is perfect, and the sweet imagery for your traveling Umbrella Man is just right. I love that you included such wonderful keepsakes, and you most definitely gave them a worthy home on this stunning tag!

  8. That's an amazing tag. And I was just thinking how fitting it is for us, having moved from the UK to France, and then read what you'd written about your aunt. What a fantastic tribute to her trip.
