Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #8 & Things With Wings Challenge

TIME FLIES

It's week 8 already & the technique challenge is "InkedGrunge"
on pg 39 of
Tim Holtz new book
A COMPENDIUM OF CURIOSITIES
I had so much fun doing this tag & I'm really pleased with how it turned out!
I used Tumbled Glass-Pumice Stone-Black Soot Distress Inks then
a coating of Rock Candy Distress Stickles on the Grunge Board wings
You can visit the lovely Linda Ledbetters blog StudioL3 to get all the
info about joining the challenges & to see all the great artwork being done
I'm posting both pictures I took because I can't decide which background I like better!
.....LOL
I'm also entering this piece over at the Simon Says Stamp & Show Blog
their first challenge is "Things with Wings"

  3. Holy cats, this is SO COOL, Nancy! Spectacular laying going on here, and what great imagery, too! Love the beautifully-inked butterfly wings, and the vintage lady with her winged friends. Perfect use of those Idea-ology pieces, too-- I like the spinner pointed straight toward the flying clock.

This is the kind of piece that makes you want to create a story to go along with it! Well done. :-)
